1. Rozafa Castle also known as the Shkodër Castle
Rozafa Castle, located in northern Albania, was built by the Illyrians and is one of the most important cultural and historic sites in the country. The castle was strategically built ~430 ft. above sea level and served as a stronghold during many battles.
2. Berat
Although many tourists pass over Berat, this city has one of the most breathtaking views. Berat, located in Central Albania, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and provides a rare glimpse of architectural styles characteristic during the Ottoman era.
3. Himarë
Hands down, the best beach I have ever been too. The drive through the mountains to reach Himarë is an adventure itself. But the beautiful views of the mountain while you swim in crystal blue ocean is worth it.
